BEYOND WALLS EXHIBITION - JUNE 29TH

'An astounding, amazing night with wonderful artistic expression and strong emotions and feelings on show for all to see.'

...wonderful to see how youth with disabilities express themselves through art..'

'I now have an insight into how it must feel to be a youth with a disability in our world, how cruel and isolating it must feel.'

'My son has been trying to express his feelings of frustration and lack of empathy from others for years. Now he has successfully put these emotions into an art piece. Thank You!'

MOVIES AND CHARACTER DESIGN BY PARTICIPANTS

Collaborative

These photos are a result of a photography workshop completed on the course. Each participant had an opportunity to express themselves as they wished using

Isaac

Isaac created two videos and numerous characters to express his feelings and emotions in relation to how he is treated by society. Each character has a trait that he relates to which he discusses in his artist statement.

Bradley

Bradley has an imagination full of stories and intertwined and complicated relationships between all his characters. He created these characters from scratch, drawing them first, then scanning them in, colouring and editing them in PhotoShop. He wrote and recorded and audio script and put this video together to tell their story.
