With Artist in Residence, Mandy Francis, the students create sculptures to reflect a connection to place.
With Artist in Residence, Sile Molloy, the students experiment with different mediums and methods as an expression.
THE YOUTH ARTS WAREHOUSE
The Youth Arts Warehouse in Regional Youth Support Services, Gosford is the venue which hosts this course. It contains a large visual art studio with numerous materials, 10 macbooks which the participants have access to, a large warehouse in which to build our structures and best of all, it is directly opposite Kibble Park, our exhibition venue!
Access to macbooks and large TV to showcase work.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Aaron is 25 years old and a veteran of the courses run in The Warehouse, having taken part in many of them over the years. Aaron has a distinctive style of drawing and has sold many paintings and taken part in exhibitions. He hopes to have one of his own solo exhibitions one day

Nine young emerging artists who identify with a disability were selected to collaborate in site-specific creative developments exploring the theme “Home & Connection to Place ”. Through visual arts, photography & sculpture, a series of workshops will result in installations that will activate a space in Gosford. The exhibition will invite the public to connect with & explore the art works at an event in Kibble Part in Gosford CBD.
Alec almost 18 years of age and is a keen photographer and video editor with an amazing portfolio of work already under his belt. His enthusiam and love for art knows no bounds. His love and the importance of his family in his life is very evident in his work.

Krystyna is an amazing artist with a great imagination and abilityto recite and memorise interesting facts. She spends all her spare time writing stories and colouring in. Her attention to detail is to be admired.

Isaac is a very strong storyteller and a talented character designer. He develops a history and reason to all his character development. He works at Response Art.

Alex is very happy to be in an art program as he starts lots of art but doesnt finish any. He is excited and proud of the work he is completing in this course.
Artist Name: bradley
Bradley is an anime enthuasist and can name almost every single character and anime film, and all the versions and the modifications to the characters! He is passionate about his character designs and the connection of his characters is important and family relationships.
Artist Name: meg
Megan is an extremely creative individual with great ideas. A well established photographer who is an advocate for 'art telling the story' of how art can break down the barriers around the stigma attached to disability and give the general public an understanding of disability that they might not have.
Artist Name: sean
Sean is Megan's sidekick! They are great friends and have worked together on this project to produce a wonderful piece of artwork.
